Take Me Home: Logo Redesign

Take Me Home is a dog rescue awareness company in Los Angeles. They have begun traveling around the country and attending rock shows to help raise awareness for how amazing adopting a dog can be. Our dog, Dresden, came to us via the Take Me Home program. And we love him all the way!! I remember speaking with Haze about how I really wanted a Boxer and we were going through some tricky stuff with our apartment in LA allowing one. I let her know were were planning to move, specifically so we could adopt a Boxer and I wanted to start looking for one. As fate would have it, weeks later a beautiful Boxer and her two pups were brought in to the Take Me Home family. We went to meet a teeny, tiny Dresden (shown below) and I was 100%, completely in love with him.

So, back to Take Me Home! Haze told me they had this idea to add a more rock vibe to their logo and I was excited to help out. Their idea was to have a dog paw doing the iconic rock devil horn sign. I also wanted to update their existing logo font without departing too far from what they have been using for years. This is the logo that was born of the idea! I think it is super cute and it adds a little rock and roll to their brand when they are at music festivals!

They have been using it pretty regularly now at shows. Through music and a sincere love for animals, Take Me Home is helping to save the lives of abandoned dogs by finding them loving homes. I could not be more happy to have helped with this logo and to be a part of the Take Me Home extended family.
